Rob Westall

Former BBC journalist Rob Westall is passionate these days about broadcasting the Good news of the Gospel through his music.  The prolific song-writer is head of worship at Gateway Church in South Wales, where his big sounding, upbeat anthems are regularly sung. He has also performed at many other churches, events and festivals including Creation Fest. His passion is to point people towards Jesus in all that he does and ultimately draw people closer to Him.

His critically acclaimed album ‘Born to Worship’ (released April 2019) strikes a chord with people of all ages and songs from the record along with his Christmas single ‘Saviour of the World,’ received airplay on BBC radio and various Christian stations in the US, UK and Ireland.  The album features ‘anthemic, uplifting, catchy contemporary’ worship songs, that help worshippers of all generations express their hearts to the Almighty.

Rob and his band are heading out on the road in 2020, playing songs from ‘Born to Worship’. As well as the event itself, all participating churches and event organisers will receive chord charts and multi-tracks of the songs for their worship teams to use. They will also be offered workshops, training and tutorials on any area participating churches require.

Rob and his band can lead worship, perform at all types of events and work in schools.  They can also offer a wide variety of flexible training/workshops aimed at helping to empower, equip and encourage everyone they work with, including worship training, music workshops and song-writing.

"'Born to Worship' produces an anthemic, uplifting, catchy contemporary soundtrack for a faith-focused life."
